Feed the Big Kodo

Kodo 1.0 — August 2013. A reflex game built with Corona SDK (Lua), my second mobile game after The Lightning Planet, reusing the engine with a brand new theme.

Can you feed the Big Kodo with the good small Kodos at the right time? Test your mental agility as the game speeds up.

Available on iOS and Android — a short, fast-paced mobile experience centered around a cast of eight hand-drawn Kodo characters.

The Kodo bestiary

Eight distinct Kodos shipped in the final build — each with its own face, silhouette and identity. Skull, Ghost, Monster, Horror, Ninja, Octopus, Eyes and Blink.

Ghost & Skull
Characters

Ghost & Skull

The quieter Kodos — Ghost floats silently, Skull warns of trouble. Both share the same round silhouette but carry very different tones.

Ninja & Horror
Characters

Ninja & Horror

The stealth and the scare — Ninja sneaks in from the side, Horror rushes in with wide eyes and sharp teeth.

Eyes, Blink & Octopus
Characters

Eyes, Blink & Octopus

The curious trio — quick glances, soft blinks and waving tentacles, rounding out the cast with a lighter touch.
