Free Sweepstake funded by advertisement
Adillions was a free sweepstake funded entirely by advertisement. Players entered daily draws through a fun mobile experience on iOS and Android, with real prizes and zero entry fees.
The backend was built from the ground up with Node.js, Marionette.js and PostgreSQL. Dev, staging and production environments were deployed and managed on Heroku for rapid iteration.
Deep social networks integration let players invite friends, share results and compete on leaderboards, driving organic growth through viral loops.
Google Analytics was evaluated and set up to track user behaviour across the funnel — from acquisition to retention — enabling the team to iterate on the product with real data.
The mobile game was crafted in Lua with Corona SDK (now Solar2D), delivering smooth animations and a native feel on both iOS and Android from a single codebase.
Node.js and Marionette.js powered the API and back-office. PostgreSQL handled data persistence. The mobile client was built in Lua with Corona SDK. Heroku hosted every environment from dev to production.
Co-founded Adillions as CTO and full-stack developer. Built the mobile game, the server-side infrastructure and the deployment pipeline from September 2013 to November 2014 in Paris.
